I really like Poliigon or Visune free assets, but there are not much. For 3D models, Grabcad is the must.

GrabCad for sure, and CG trader usually has what is needed for cheaper assets. I’ve been looking at Quixel’s movement to the FAB store now, and right now all the Quixel assets are free for download, so I’m going through and downloading those as many as I can before thye get put behind the paywall.

I use, Grabcad, 3dcontent central, traceparts, Mcmaster.

I use 3dassets.one, it’s a search engine for Polyhaven, ambientCG, CG bookcase, etc.

PolyHaven is great, Poliigon has nice paid and free assets.

Dimensiva has a huge library of well designed products. It’s a monthly membership, but you can get unlimited downloads during that month. For ~$50 it’s a great resource to get well designed scene props.

3D Warehouse, it’s sketchup but sometimes pretty handy
Quixel, you have to be very quick downloading though, paid after 1/1/2025
SketchFab somtimes

For nice paid textures Arroway.de is also a nice source if you look for really nice wood/fabric textures.

For 3D model I like to design them myself most of the times since I am a design engineer. Other times I use grabcad. Also Poly Haven is a great resource.

Turbosquid is my go to for 3D assets. If they do not have what I am looking for I will search thingiverse or Grabcad.
