Best free or affordable 3D rendering resources

Thanks! I’ll check out the sites you mentioned. I don’t always need highly realistic hands—sometimes it’s just for product scale reference.
I appreciate the help!

If it’s more for scale I like to sometimes do a really simplistic more illustration style render. Depends on the product if that works but sometimes just a black silhouette of a hand + black silhouette of the product can work well to give people some idea of scale. And bananas seem to do well these days in socials for scale reference :banana: :wink:

Vizune also has some hands available for KeyShot:

Grabcad library mostly

GrabCad and PolyHaven

GrabCad and SketchFab

I use GrabCAD. And I also make models myself.

my absolute favorites are:
HDRIs

  • HDRI Haven (now part of Poly Haven) – High-quality HDRIs that work great in KeyShot lighting setups and HDRI Skies
    for 3D Models;

  • Sketchfab(https://sketchfab.com/) –lots of free downloadable models

  • CGTrader

  • Thingiverse(https://thingiverse.com) – Especially good for mechanical parts and print-ready designs
