Thanks! I’ll check out the sites you mentioned. I don’t always need highly realistic hands—sometimes it’s just for product scale reference.
I appreciate the help!
Best free or affordable 3D rendering resources
If it’s more for scale I like to sometimes do a really simplistic more illustration style render. Depends on the product if that works but sometimes just a black silhouette of a hand + black silhouette of the product can work well to give people some idea of scale. And bananas seem to do well these days in socials for scale reference
Vizune also has some hands available for KeyShot:
Grabcad library mostly
GrabCad and PolyHaven
GrabCad and SketchFab
I use GrabCAD. And I also make models myself.
my absolute favorites are:
HDRIs
-
HDRI Haven (now part of Poly Haven) – High-quality HDRIs that work great in KeyShot lighting setups and HDRI Skies
for 3D Models; -
Sketchfab(https://sketchfab.com/) –lots of free downloadable models
-
CGTrader
-
Thingiverse(https://thingiverse.com) – Especially good for mechanical parts and print-ready designs
