buggy labels in multi-materials

Is anyone else having problems with their labels in multi-materials?

When I try to change the material of an existing label (while in multi-materials), it disconnects or deletes my label. My usual workflow is to duplicate the material and tweak it for a CMF variation. I’ve been needing to rebuild the material every time in order to keep my label

Are you selecting Duplicate Materials or Duplicate Materials and Link Textures (the icon below)? Can you share a screen shot?

Hi Derek! I always select “Duplicate Materials” because I’m usually adjusting the color of the textures, and I don’t want the texture to change globally. In the material graph, this used to always duplicate the entire tree, including the texture. I could then independently manipulate the texture without it affecting the original material.

I just tried this with a texture applied to the surface (instead of as a label), and I’m getting the same problem. First screenshot is the material I tried to duplicate. Second screenshot is the resulting material
