I’m trying to send an assembly from SOLIDWORKS using the newest version of the plugin and am getting the error:
“An error occured during connection to KeyShot Studio: Failed to connect. Could not get a scene api. Please check your installation.”
After comparing the folder for KeyShot Studio to KeyShot 11 in my Documents folder, it seems that the file “sceneapi.log” is missing from Studio. I’ve tried doing a full uninstall and reinstall of KeyShot and that didn’t do anything. Any suggestions on how I can get this file to generate would be appreciated, not being able to send files via the plugin is really inconvenient.

Hi Maura - the reason I posted here is because I can’t sign in to the support portal. Your link brings me to a sign in page that thinks my login credentials are incorrect, even though I can sign in on the main KeyShot site and here on the forum. So I guess this is really a “help, something isn’t working right” for the Support Portal.
