It has been a while since I have been able to contribute to the community as I taken up a new role at Hyperkin 8-months ago and there has just been so much stuff to do! I am lucky to still be able to be able to be working in the gaming accessory industry as it is a space I am personally invested and passionate about.
I wanted to share one of the new renders I put together in Keyshot for social media to ride off the Super Bowl trend, as I noticed that the official Wilson NFL football shared the same name as one of the controllers we produced, “The Duke”.
Wow, I was expecting you were moving along from PDP to Turtle Beach. Seems not! Hope to see many nice images from you again! It’s a great area to work in, game controllers never get boring I think.
Unfortunately Turtle Beach has a very different corporate structure than PDP, so my skills were not as valued as much there - but there is a lot of good that I have been able to contribute to here at Hyperkin. I have been able to setup a workflow here that has lead to a lot of success and I hope we will continue to gain traction and grow as time goes along!
One of the recently launch announcements that I contributed to was a new controller we plan to come out with called, “The Competitor” which has received over 45 million views across all media in 1-week time.
Wow the video looks awesome! And having your skills valued is an important thing to enjoy what you’re doing! If you can make a difference with what you know and it’s valued it doesn’t really matter at what company it is. I guess Hyperkin is a smaller one but I can imagine it’s great to be able to lift their communication imagery to a higher standard!
