Keyshot XR in Google slides presentation?

hello!

Do you know how I can add the XR feature, where you could rotate the model in 360 view, into powerpoint/google slide? I saw a presenter drag and drop the file into a powerpoint during the Keyshot World conference but I’m not sure if it would work in Google Slide, which is my company’s main presentation tool. I believe it’s something along GLB/GLTF method but not sure exactly.

i’ve been trying to reach out to Keyshot but i’m not getting any answers or responses.

thanks!

So the XR feature, in which KeysShot exports a series of images to make a 360, cannot be easily embedded into a Powerpoint, but you can use a GLB file to do so, as you mention.

To do so, open your file in KeyShot 2023 and select Export to AR, I would leave the setting to the default for now, then click Export. This will create two files for you, a GLB file and a USDz.

Thee GLB can be used for Powerpoint The USDz is better for Apple devices and embedding into KeyNote.

To add the GLB file to a Powerpoint go to Insert >> 3D Model >> This Device and select the GLB you created.

Once it’s in there you can move it around.

If you need to adjust the setting on the GLB, refer to the documentation here, for what the settings mean/adjust.

There is no way to embed it into a Google Slide that I know of.
