Hello Keyshot community!
It’s been a while since I my work on keyshot forum because of certain personal reasons but I’m glad to be back and see all the great works from other artist! This time I’m going to share a very special work of mine with you all but I’d like to explain the reason behind creating this set of images.
As a small member of this community, I shared my very first renders with keyshot 4 on forum and the feedback I got here over the past years helped me to grow as a 3D artist and I can’t really express how grateful I am for all the constructing feedback I got through these years. This time, this thread is extra special for me as it exhibits certain facts about what is going on in my country. Iranian people are going through a revolution against one of the most notorious regimes of all time. It all started 60 days ago when a 22 year old girl named Mahsa Amini was fatally beaten by “morality police” only because her scarf didn’t cover her hair properly! (Can you believe it?!) Since then people are fighting against regime for women rights and many other basic needs in this modern world. The protestors around the country were peacefully marching on the street chanting their demands when the government responded drastically by bullets! The death toll has risen over 350 people including 50 Children!!! Almost 15000 people are arrested over the country and yet the government is not backing down. The parliament members signed a petition and asked the ministry of justice (what a joke!) to sentence those who are in custody to death! The dark side of what the Islamic republic forces are doing to those in custody is so demonic that I really can’t say the words. People prefer to die on streets rather than getting arrested.
Now, today Nov 15th we stand at a crucial phase of our revolution. People retaliate any sort of brutality and our brave women are in the front line of the protest! (2 years ago Islamic republic shot down an Ukrainian plane above Tehran and killed 178 civilians including Iranians, Canadians and Ukrainians!) The heat of the revolution is at its maximum today and there are nationwide strike and protests everywhere. The internet is cut off so there is no connection between them and the outside world and this is the moment the regime brutality increases even more. If I wanted to write down the crimes of this regime, it would have been a 1000 page book but what is important for us is to be heard by all the people around the world.
you may ask how other people help us? Simple, just read more about the recent incidents, talk about them and share our stories with your friends! this will increase the foreign pressure on the government and helps us fight against them! May we see a peaceful world without dictators who invade other countries like Russia and dictators who kill their own civilians like Islamic republic!
Thanks for reading this thread! #woman_life_freedom
Technical notes:
I used blender to do my modeling and then I tried to do the fabric with cloth simulation but it didn’t work out well so I tried marvelous designer and it kinda simulated the shape I wanted. After that I imported my model into Zbrush and did a little bit of sculpting on the cloth (I’m newbie in blender so I prefered to do the sculpting in Zbrush which I actually have more experience in). In the final step i made my textures in substance painter and created my materials n Keyshot and rendered the announcement poster for the 3 days nationwide strike in Iran.
Let me know what you think! I hope you like it!!
