Plugin Keyshot on Rhino

Hello!

I have a problem with my Keyshot Plugin on Rhino7. It seems there is no interaction between the two programs. When I press Keyshot_render, nothing happens. When I press Keyshot_update, i get this message: A connection error occurred. Please check your KeyShot installation

Can anybody help me?

I’ve no Rhino and I’m not sure if you work on a Windows machine but I found the following article (it’s about SolidWorks but same problem):

So basically it’s caused by two different paths because programs are installed on different drives. Worth a check maybe. Another solution mentioned is about access rights to certain folders. You could try if it helps to start Rhino as ‘administrator’. If you click right on the Rhino executable you select ‘run as Administrator’. Basically that gives you and therefore Rhino more rights to certain folders.

I’ve no experiences with Rhino > KeyShot but this might worth a try.
