THIS IS A JOB I DID A LONG TIME AGO

HELLO, MY NAME IS MANUEL JIMENEZ, I AM A STRUCTURAL DESIGNER IN A PACKAGING COMPANY, I AM ORIGINAL FROM MEXICO

Hi! this is my first post, Im a freshly graduated Industrial Designer from Argentina! I wanted to share some renderings I did for my final uni project. We worked with reclaimed wood from construction sites, cleaned it and prep it accordingly to make furniture out of it. We also made a prototype of the chair you see, so production aspects were very important for us. We wanted to emphasize the story behind the material we used and from where it came.
Something that I struggled quite a lot was being able to reproduce the real state of the wood in the renderings. I think that if I had mastered the material graph a little bit better I would have been able to produce much more realistic renderings.
