What's your KeyShot Benchmark score?

Can’t wait to see the first results with 5000 Generation! ATM the 4070 (TI) SUPER with 16GB seems to be the sweet spot

@marketing.dtg nice sheet! I was checking some prices few days ago for someone and it’s crazy how the 4090’s got more expensive the past month. If I look at Tweakers most are closer to €3000 than €2000.

Think you took Dutch prices so for people from the US, these prices are including VAT which in The Netherlands is 21%.

Yep, i took the dutch prices from Tweakers. i mentioned which month i checked the pricing. its a bit to time consuming to keep the prices also up-to-date haha. I think the benchmark-scores are the most important.

LOL yeah no need to keep things up to date anyway, just was amazed by prices going up so much looking at the Tweakers price graphs while the new one is around the corner.

If I have some time I might add a column with the V-Ray scores. Those should scale the same as the KeyShot GPU scores but there are more scores available so it might give a more precise result. Saw the top V-Ray RTX score is now someone with 18x4090 GPUs connected. well, that will work

18 4090’s??? wow, thats a lot hahah. I can add you as an editor in the spreadsheet if you’d like those V-ray scores to the file. send me your gmail and i’ll add you.

I can’t wait for the first tests with 5070, 5080 and 5090 GPUs. I have to throw out my 2080ti.

@Oscar: would it make any sense to keep that old beast in the system? What PSU would I need if I go for a 5080 plus 2080ti? For rendering the card is outdated…people with 3050 laptops beat it…

You aren’t getting any results, you have to hit the run benchmark button.

 Nobody paid a scalper to get hands on a 5090 or 5080 yet?

I’ve got the budget approval to get 3 new workstations with 5090’s in them, just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Was going to try to sneak into Microcenter with KS Benchmark on a usb stick and see if they would let me install and run it on one of the workstations. might try to do that over lunch some day.

I noticed my 4090+3090 give me 17000+ in V-Ray Benchmark and a 5090 does 15000 so that’s a good excuse not to make my PC a fire hazard

@matt.gerard I think you can better use another benchmark, KeyShot’s benchmark is not heavy enough for 4090/5090 etc. most of the time goes to getting the data inside the GPU which gives odd results like a much better second run. Especially if the CPU is old like mine.

Keyshot Viewer Benchmark
Result
CPU 3.25
GPU 41.56

From what I’ve learned here, performance is based on the number of CUDA cores, so if that’s the case, is the 5080’s performance similar to that of a 3090?

New work laptops just came in. :grinning:
